Success Stories: O-2 Visa Approved for Ecuadorian TV Presenter and Producer at USCIS

Photo by Austin Distel on Unsplash. An O-2 Visa is for someone who seeks to enter the United States temporarily and solely for the purpose of accompanying and assisting in the artistic or athletic performance by an O-1 beneficiary.

We recently received an approval for an O-2 Essential Support Visa for an Ecuadorian National who is a television presenter and producer. Congratulations to our artist client and his U.S. petitioner!

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) may classify beneficiaries who are essential to an O-1 beneficiary’s artistic or athletic performance and are coming solely to assist in that performance. The O-2 beneficiary must be an integral part of the actual performance or event and possess critical skills and experience with the O-1 artist/athlete that are not of a general nature and that U.S. workers do not possess.
