We recently received a DACA Renewal approval for a Mexican National. It was approved in a little over a month. Congratulations to our client!

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or “DACA” is a discretionary and temporary relief from removal/deportation given to certain undocumented immigrants who came to the United States when they were children. It does not confer legal immigration status, but it gives certain immigrants protection from deportation and allows them to work in the United States with authorization.

DACA is the subject of a number of lawsuits, with the most recent one, prohibiting the granting of new DACA applications. However, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will continue to accept the filing of both initial and renewal DACA requests, as well as accompanying requests for employment authorization.
